Ringworm erupted in 1991 from Cleveland, OH in a brutal local scene where they blended purist hardcore with heavy metal influences and punishing live shows. 2011's "Scars" is a pummeling and vile affirmation of the thrash-inspired metal and heavy-hitting hardcore only Ringworm is capable of unleashing.
