Made up of ex-members of early '00s hardcore punk luminaries like Tear it Up, Dead Nation (three-quarters of P.R. played on the now-classic "Dead End" LP, for those who pay attention to these things), and Splitting Headache, Pagan Rituals dial up the reverb and feedback on their debut 7". The result is noisy and cavernous punk, drawing on the likes of Rudimentary Peni, Amebix, Rikk Agnew's guitar work in Christian Death, and Killing Joke. It's dark and distorted, goth-y but aggressive, and it's the opening salvo in a slew of music we'll be hearing from these folks.
