On their debut EP "Animal", Grudgepacker turns inward lyrically, with singer/founder Allan Yaxon singing about his own self-love as a Brown gay man over the stomping hardcore punk introduced by their self-titled debut. In the vein of greats like Limp Wrist and G.L.O.S.S., with hints of Yaxon’s Oi! influence peeking through. The guitars are dirty and the drums pummeling; the EP is a short and energetic offering. Get in, beat ass, get out.
