Following a couple of demo tracks, Gray Matters is the first proper release from Sacramento's Fake It. Originally released in 2017, the band managed to cover lots of area in these 5 songs full of frustration, doubt, and retrospective themes. Each song presents a range of emotions portrayed by twinkly electric guitars, rich harmonies, acoustics, and extremely catchy choruses. Gray Matters will easily catch your ear and you'll find yourself with the album on repeat—especially if you're a fan of emo/indie bands like Into It. Over It, Pedro the Lion or Death Cab for Cutie.
